Backend Software Engineer - Portfolio Data Workflows

Addepar is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to join its Portfolio Data Workflows UK team. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of maintaining and evolving critical API services, modernizing architecture, and shaping the future of the platform.

Requirements

• Degree in a STEM field, such as Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience in the industry.
• Prior experience building backend services in a professional environment.
• Experience building services with Java is a must-have for the role.
• Experience with SQL, Elasticsearch, AWS or JavaScript are nice-to-have.
• Demonstrable knowledge of using AI in a professional engineering environment.
• An understanding of development best practices and experience working in an agile team.
• Interest or experience in the financial industry or wealth management in particular.
