Software Engineer Defense / Äußere Sicherheit (all genders)

Shape digital defense: Develop software solutions for the public sector, particularly for the German Armed Forces, Federal Office for Information Security, and NATO. Implement projects with modern technologies, deliver stable, secure and maintainable software, and participate in design reviews and code reviews.

Requirements

• Comprehensive education: Study of computer science or business informatics; completed vocational training in the IT sector or non-IT vocational training with at least five years of relevant work experience in software development.
• Experience in the field of security organizations: Verifiable experience with security authorities, the German Armed Forces, NATO, BWI, etc.
• Technical competence: Experience in backend in Python/FastAPI/Django, in Java/EE/Spring or in Rust and/or in frontend with JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Angular and/or in Dev-Ops with Kubernetes, GitLab CI, ArgoCD, Helm and Infrastructure-as-Code.
