Engineer, Instrumentation & Controls

Come Build Your Career at Aecon! We are looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer to work on modification packages. The candidate will prepare engineering change packages, specifications, and support proposals.

Requirements

• B.S. in Electrical, Mechanical, or Controls Engineering from an accredited 4-year university
• 5 years overall experience in design, operations or field service/support for power plants or heavy industrial facilities
• 3 years of experience relating to design of operating nuclear power plants in the U.S.
• Strong knowledge of engineering design and analysis
• Familiarity with nuclear regulations and industry standards
• Experience leading a team of engineers and technicians and training/mentoring junior staff
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Expertise using Microsoft Office products
