Job Description
The Landscape Director will be responsible for overall leadership, strategic focus, management and accountability for performance of AWF's Landscape Program in the Bili Mbomu Conservation Area (BMCC). He/She will work closely with the Country Coordinator DRC, the Country teams and other managers where necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Conservation, Natural Resource Management, Wildlife Management or related field
- Solid Project Management experience with at least 10 years’ experience successfully managing a project in remote, strenuous physical conditions and conflict and post conflict zones
- Experience implementing Conservation Co-Management agreement or donor projects
- International work experience with a proven ability to work in remote locations
- Fluency in spoken and written French and English
