Job Description
A Veteran Directed Care Attendant is hired to assist an elderly and/or disabled veteran to maintain quality of life in their home. The job involves completing daily living activities such as grooming, mobility, dressing, toileting, wellness activities, cooking, housekeeping, community socialization, and lawn care.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age and have a social security number
- Perform tasks as stated on the individual care plan
- Be willing and able to pass a background check
