About
AIM Independent Living Center is a nonprofit organization that empowers people with disabilities to live independently and self‑directed lives. For more than three decades, AIM has offered peer counseling, information and referral, independent living skills training, and individual and systems advocacy to individuals, families, and service providers. The organization distinguishes itself through a peer‑led model—its board and staff are predominantly people with disabilities—ensuring authentic understanding and support. AIM welcomes all disability types and imposes no economic or eligibility restrictions, making its services accessible to anyone who needs them. By combining education, advocacy, and direct support, AIM advances the independent living movement across the region.
