Job Description
Ainsworth (a GDI company) is seeking a skilled BAS Technician to directly program, commission, and verify electronic end devices and third party integration devices connected to the building automation system. This role involves working with external consultants for in-depth system verification and has flexibility with shifting shifts to ensure project needs are met. The position requires strong knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Inspect, test & troubleshoot low voltage power equipment and systems
- Commission BAS systems, end to end verification
- Assist in verifying installation, commissioning, and operation
- Utilizing software to verify operating parameters
- Programming of HVAC equipment
- Calibrate electrical or electronic components
- Collect and compile operational data
- Working at heights - Fall Protection or Fall Restraint systems
- Perform shutdown/lockout of electrical systems
