Job Description
The Indian Health Service (IHS) is seeking contract general dentists to provide comprehensive dental care in Arizona, Nevada, and California. Contracted providers will deliver routine, emergency, and specialty treatments to a diverse patient population, emphasizing cultural sensitivity and adaptability. The role requires adhering to IHS standards and working effectively with interpreters when necessary.
Requirements
- DMD or DDS from a CODA-accredited institution.
- Unrestricted any state dental license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in general dentistry.
- Background check and character investigation as per the Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act.
- Credentialing and fingerprinting required before starting.
