Senior Data Architect

Role Overview

Akumen is seeking a Senior Data Architect to support a federal data and analytics program. This position provides senior-level leadership for enterprise data architecture, data management, and solution design efforts supporting cloud-based and advanced analytics environments.

What You Will Do

Lead enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and integration strategy for analytics, warehousing, and reporting environments. Evaluate existing systems and design target-state data solutions that improve interoperability, governance, and performance.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must possess an active Secret security clearance or higher, or have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance or higher in accordance with contract requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in data architecture, data management, or solution architecture
• Demonstrated expertise in enterprise data modeling, data integration, ETL/ELT, and architecture documentation
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-based data solutions in enterprise environments
• Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP-Associate) or equivalent DMBOK-aligned certification, plus a data modeling or data architecture certification
