Job Description
As a Senior IT Auditor at AkzoNobel, you will play a key role in providing independent and objective insights to strengthen the company's governance, risk management, and internal control environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 4 years of audit experience in public accounting and/or a large internal audit function
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Auditing Standards and risk-based auditing
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to deliver results within budget and timelines
- Willingness to travel up to 40%
- Audit-related certification (e.g. CIA) or currently pursuing one
- Good understanding of IT operations (e.g. ITIL, DevOps), modern technologies (e.g. SaaS, Azure), and third-party assurance
- Strong understanding of SAP-based business processes (Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Finance/Controlling)
- Experience with data analytics in audits is highly preferred
