Job Description
The Medical Social Worker is responsible for identifying oncology patients requiring social work intervention, assessing psychosocial needs, and developing a plan using professional social work knowledge and practice skills.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of Social Work
- One year experience in a hospital or related health care setting
- Sound knowledge of community agencies, support programs and oncology related networking systems
