Drafter

We are looking for a production drafter who will be responsible for preparing new product design layouts and drawings for parts, weldments and assemblies. If you are a motivated team player, who is committed to producing a high-quality product on time and safely, we want you on our team.

Requirements

• Prepare new product design layout, part, weldment and assembly drawings.
• Revision and correct existing drawings.
• Create bills of materials and parts lists for assembly drawings.
• Assign part numbers per established guidelines.
• Work directly with Engineering Manager or Engineering Specialist and Sales to interpret project direction for the development or revision of the product
• Communicate with other departments as required for project work.
• Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Maintain and wear all required personal protective safety equipment.
• Participate in all continuous improvement programs by offering suggestions and exhibiting initiative in areas within direct control.
• Other duties as assigned.
