Job Description
Alliant Energy seeks a Senior Generation Systems Specialist (Controls) to apply advanced expertise in control systems to support the design, operation, and optimization of energy infrastructure. The role involves developing and maintaining automated control strategies for generation equipment, ensuring reliable and efficient performance through platforms such as SCADA, PLCs, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).
Requirements
- Independently performs work on a variety of complex assignments requiring in-depth analysis to determine appropriate solutions to solve problems.
- Monitors multiple assigned system(s) or process(es) to assure sustained, safe, and efficient operation of the systems and overall plant within prescribed quality and regulatory boundaries.
- Coordinates and drives the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of plant processes and systems with generating plant personnel.
