Laboratory Technician

Role Overview

Join ALS as a Laboratory Technician and be part of a global team harnessing the power of scientific testing and data-driven insights to build a healthier future. The primary purpose of this position is to follow methodologies, perform analysis, and interpret samples.

What You Will Do

Follow appropriate methodologies and SOPs, document activities and report results, solve analysis problems, and interpret samples and data.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and at least 8 credit hours of college level science courses
• 1 year of college level classes, or 1 year of laboratory experience
• Ability to speak and hear clearly while communicating with staff, management, and clients
• Ability to sit, and/or stand for 100% of an 8-hour day
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs
• Dexterity in hands and fingers to operate computer and other equipment
• Average vision and ability to see to read reports and operate equipment
• Ability to distinguish differences in color and shade
• Ability to perform repetitive motion actions
• Ability to withstand cold temperatures for at least 1 hour
