Material Planner

We're looking for a Material Planner to join our team in Chorzow. You'll manage suppliers, drive operational excellence, and collaborate with teams across the business. Requirements

• Manage the Supplier's portfolio for ensuring goods are delivered at the right time, quantity and place, based on Alstom needs.
• Drive action plan for performance improvement and contribute to risk management.
• Collaborate with the Procurement team to ensure the contractual agreements are reflected in the ERP
• Create a delivery schedule and coordinate it
• Ensure supply transparency
• Track material consumption for compliance with the material standard – PBOM
• Material shortage management (system)
• Track on-time delivery dates by suppliers
• Adjust the level (level management) and delivery date to the needs of the production line
• Stock control
• Solving issues with invoices and monitor overdue and pending invoices
• Collaborate with Delta warehouse along with solving issues with incoming deliveries as part of logistic NCR process
• Organize conf-calls with problematic suppliers and challenging actions to owners by action plans
• Coordinate the actions and escalate problematic topics with other departments: Quality, Sourcing, Procurement, Production.
