Job Description
Alstom is seeking a Network and Connectivity Engineer to support the N&C Sub-System project deployment activities. The successful candidate will contribute to technical governance, review technical input, and ensure technical risks are being identified and managed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science (Mathematics and/or Physics or IT)
- 10 years of total engineering/project experience
- 1 year experience in Design/Engineering in communications field background
- Experience of radio deployments in industrial environment, including interference mitigation (preferred)
- Wifi protocol knowledge (preferred)
- Proven experience on monitoring tools and techniques (spectrum analyzer, IP analyzer, mib principles, etc.) (preferred)
- Knowledgeable of interpersonal skills
- 4G/5G knowledge (preferred)
- Resilience (preferred)
- Strong knowledge and experience on Radio propagation and on Radio solutions with a specific focus on Wifi deployments (802.11a/b/n/ac) (preferred)
- Experience in IT/Supervision is an add-on
- Signaling and system architecture is an add-on
