Project Engineering Manager

Alstom is seeking a full-time Project Engineering Manager in Toronto, ON to work on a project to reduce the carbon footprint of Canada's busiest public transit system. The role involves managing technical contractual scope, ensuring performance and customer acceptance, and leading technical activities to achieve customer acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific field.
• P. Eng certification or in progress.
• At least 5 years of experience working on signalling projects in a technical role.
• Hands-on experience with functional or hierarchical team management.
• Cost and planning control expertise within an engineering scope.
• Strong customer relationship management in contractual settings.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
• Experience in product development and understanding of urban and mainline market segments (desirable).
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Resilience, adaptability, and a continuous learning mindset.
