Train validation Engineer

Alstom is seeking a Train Validation Engineer to join their team in La Rochelle, France. The successful candidate will work on software validation for maintenance, integrating testability and tele-diagnostic needs for advanced control systems. The role involves writing validation programs, conducting tests, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize validation processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, software engineering, or a related field
• Experience or in-depth understanding of software validation, ideally in the railway rolling stock domain
• Knowledge of electrical schematics and associated control logic
• Familiarity with validation simulators such as Train Lab or Test Bench
• Proven ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
• Autonomy in conducting tests and resolving technical issues
• Skills in analysis and improvement of validation tools
