
Job description
The Associate Database Administrator will work 24X7 shifts, adjusting their schedule to fit operation support. They will communicate progress and resolution to clients, document work, and perform performance monitoring. The role involves mentoring team members, conducting root cause analysis, and acting as a single point of contact for escalations.
The Associate Database Administrator will conduct performance monitoring, document problems and solutions, prepare documentation, report defects, and work on complex database-related issues. They will also mentor and coach team members, perform proactive reviews of hosting environments, and support highly-available cross-enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience, with a strong background in SQL installation, patching, support, and maintenance. They will be proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, PowerShell, and other technologies. The candidate should be able to stay organized, manage priorities, and work independently as part of a cross-functional team.
