In Process Inspector - 1st Shift

Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is seeking an In Process Inspector to perform visual and dimensional inspection of in-process forgings. The role requires a strong commitment to good attendance, ability to read blueprints, and work collaboratively with other employees/departments.

Requirements

• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment.
• Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time.
• Use appropriate tools to examine the dimensions of forged parts and ensure that they are meet requirements.
• Keep accurate count and record of part/work pieces to ensure traceability.
• Inspect and approve the first piece of a job before running entire production.
• Work collaboratively with other employees/departments across APP.
• Report faulty equipment or facility defect to supervisor.
• Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
