Machine Assistant Operator

Role Overview

Assist press, converting, and extrusion operators with setup, adjustment, operation, cleaning, and loading/unloading of equipment. Support production of quality printed film, polyethylene film, and finished bags to meet customer packaging requirements.

Work with multiple operators, share responsibilities, and perform duties such as setup, adjustment, operation, cleaning, and loading/unloading of equipment.

Requirements

• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work with and interact effectively and professionally with coworkers
• Basic math skills
• Must be able to identify the source of problems on complex machinery
• Must be able to read, understand and stay current with all department work instructions and procedures
• Good organizational skills
