Machine Operator I

Role Overview

The Machine Operator is responsible for operating winders, adjusting, and packaging finished goods, conducting quality checks, handling scrap production and assisting in scrap reduction while maintaining safety and quality standards.

What You Will Do

Perform regular quality checks and weight checks, operate McGuires and process control units, handle thread up and startup of machines, package finished goods, and maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Overall knowledge and experience of extruders, recycling procedures and profiles of resins and their properties
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including holidays and weekends
• Must be able to bend, twist, and rotate body at all times
• Must be able to stand for 12 hours
