Machine Operator / Packer

The Machine Tender/Packer is a general utility person for the manufacturer of blown film plastic, responsible for operating extrusion equipment, performing quality checks, packaging and palletizing finished product, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Requirements

• Operate extrusion equipment to produce quality products
• Perform quality checks using a micrometer and tape measure
• Adjust line speed and winder settings to ensure good quality products
• Weigh and accurately record product on Traveler reports
• Package product according to routing notes and customer specifications
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
