The Material Handler is responsible for placing product in designated rows in the warehouse, ensuring labeling and packaging are correct, and maintaining housekeeping and safety standards. The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, previous forklift operating experience, and strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Responsible for placing product in designated rows in warehouse neatly and evenly
- Ensure labeling and packaging are correct prior to moving product into warehouse
- Supply production areas with needed raw materials
- Load and Unload product on stretch-wrap machine
- Monitor efficiency of the stretch-wrap machine and report equipment failures to the Maintenance Department
- Maintain stretch-wrap supply on machine
- Oversee housekeeping and safety standards in the Warehouse Department
- Assist loaders in loading and unloading semi-trailers when needed
