Structural Design Engineer

Role Overview

As a structural design engineer, you will develop designs for flight and non-flight hardware, including structural and mechanical hardware. You will work with a large team of engineers and designers to select hardware components, develop Pro Engineer/CREO models, and provide fabrication support.

What You Will Do

Your job duties will include coordination with NASA project customers, working with a large team to select hardware components, developing detailed fabrication and assembly drawings, and providing fabrication support to shop personnel.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, civil, or aerospace engineering, with proficiency in ProE/CREO 3-D modeling and 2-D drafting, and experience with large assemblies and surfacing techniques.

Requirements

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace or related field from ABET accredited institution.
• PHD with some experience
• MS with at least 3 years of experience
• BS with at least 5-10 years of experience
