Systems Engineer

Role Overview

AMERICAN SYSTEMS is seeking an experienced Systems or Test Engineer with an active Secret clearance to support the development, integration, testing, and delivery of the Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division’s P-8A Poseidon Maritime Patrol Aircraft Ground Aircrew Training Devices Combat Systems Integrated Product. This position is a hybrid role requiring 3 days onsite per week.

What You Will Do

Work in a flexible environment with industry leaders, develop new technologies and systems, work with USN Fleet Subject Matter Experts, and support the planning and delivery of training devices.

Why It Might Be a Fit

This role requires strong Systems Engineering expertise, including the ability to derive and document requirements, and familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering methods. Test Engineering experience is also needed to develop detailed test procedures and reports.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Bachelor's Degree in systems engineering, test engineering, or a similar field
• Minimum 5 years of experience
