Job description
This role is a skilled position responsible for setting up and running equipment to machine or otherwise fabricate precision components to specifications. The Machinist produces machined parts by setting up and operating CNC machines, maintaining safety and quality standards.
Sets up and operates CNC machines, downloads programs, and performs quality inspections. Conducts first-piece inspections and adheres to company standards. Maintains specifications and troubleshoots CNC machine malfunctions.
Requires experience with CNC machines, blueprint reading, and math knowledge. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs and stand for 8-12 hours. Positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
