Engineer

Amey is a leading provider of full life-cycle engineering, operations and decarbonisation solutions. We have an opportunity for a permanent Engineer to join our Consulting Rail team. As a Civil Engineer, you will support the Senior Engineer in the design and delivery of rail design schemes, guide and mentor junior team members, and work on various projects including Wales & Borders, Northern Powerhouse Rail, and Cardiff Crossrail.

Requirements

• Degree/Masters qualification in a relevant discipline
• Relevant experience in civil engineering within the rail sector
• Ability to work in a commercial and customer-focused way
• Confidence to work under minimum supervision
• Good understanding of DMRB, CDM regulations, and industry best practice
