Job Description
We are seeking a permanent Electrician to work on-site at HMP Wakefield, with a competitive annual salary and benefits package. The role involves planned and preventative electrical maintenance, fault finding, and ensuring electrical systems are safe and compliant.
Requirements
- City & Guilds 2367 or 2357 Level 2 Electrical Installation works or equivalent
- BS7671 18th Edition
- Good working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
- Good working knowledge of planned and preventative maintenance operations
- Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
- Experience of working under pressure to tight deadlines
- Able to work at heights, to work independently and use initiative
- Understanding of fire alarm and CCTV systems
- Knowledge and experience of Electrical Systems and Electricity at work Regulations
- Basic IT skills
