The Alma Mater Society (AMS) is the University of British Columbia’s (UBC) student society, and works to improve the academic, social and personal lives of the 56,000 UBC students at its Vancouver campus.
The Associate Vice President, University Affairs will be involved in advocacy related to student university issues at UBC and will research, create reports, collect data, and more to achieve the advocacy goals of the VP Academic and University Affairs Office. This position is best suited to a candidate with significant self-motivation, a strong interest in university issues, planning, and policy, and a desire to learn more about how the university works.
