Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer - Air Dominance & Strike - Advanced Effects

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company seeking a Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join their team in Costa Mesa, California. The successful candidate will develop and maintain virtual representations of various vehicles, work on challenging problems in a fast-paced environment, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary experts to understand and model system dynamics.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, chemistry, or related technical discipline
• Experience with aerospace/aeronautical systems (including missiles, rotorcraft/VTOL) and/or Subsea vehicles
• Experience in flight dynamics/platform physics and control
• Proficiency with C/C++
• Advanced proficiency with scientific computing systems (Mathworks products (e.g., MATLAB, SIMULINK etc.), scientific Python (e.g., numpy, scipy))
• Flight test data processing/sim correlation experience
• Experience with developing sub-system and system level models (Air vehicle, ground vehicles, ground based sensors and other types of complex systems)
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
