Engineer - Process Technology, Cold Roll Mill

ArcelorMittal Calvert is seeking an Engineer - Process Technology, Cold Roll Mill to develop and maintain effective technology and lead projects to optimize process and product capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a background in major steel mill processes and products, in-depth knowledge of pickling and rolling processes and technology, and strong teamwork and analytical skills.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cold Rolling Mill field
• Background in major steel mill processes and products with in-depth knowledge of pickling and rolling processes and technology
• Knowledge of steel strip properties and applications
• Understanding steel sheet rolling and pickling process, process control, properties and metallurgy of steels
• Demonstrates understanding of control systems, instrumentation, and process models
• Advanced Technical knowledge of cold rolling and pickling process and flat carbon products
• Strong Teamwork and a hands-on working approach
• Advanced skills in data analysis, Statistics (design of experiments, data analysis and model formulation)
