MES Solution Engineer

Archer is seeking an experienced MES Solution Engineer to design, implement, and optimize manufacturing execution systems. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in manufacturing processes, system integration, and industrial automation technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in manufacturing systems and industrial automation
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with MES platforms and implementation
• Expertise in MES platforms (Wonderware MES, Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, or similar Custom Developed solutions etc.)
• Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes and shop floor operations
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
• Proficiency in databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and programming languages (C#, Java, Python)
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware technologies
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles for industrial systems
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of aerospace manufacturing operations, Knowledge of quality management systems (AS 9100, FAA regulations), Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and Industry 4.0 concepts
