Ascendigo Autism Services is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen, Colorado, dedicated to fostering growth and independence for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and intellectual developmental disabilities. Since its founding in 2004 as a summer sports camp, the organization has expanded its portfolio to include adaptive sports, employment services, in‑home behavioral therapy, and life coaching, providing a comprehensive continuum of support. Therapeutic Recreation degree, 18 years old, background check, CPR/First Aid certificate
Vocation Direct Support Provider
Knowledge of autism, physical fitness, and personal care, plus strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Summer Camp Team Lead
2+ years of experience in a relevant field, valid driver’s license, clean background check, and CPR/First Aid certification required
Seasonal Residential DSP
High school diploma, knowledge of autism, healthy nutrition, and basic cooking skills
Weekend Camp Coach
No previous experience required. Must be 18 or over and have legal working status
Lake Sports Intern
Entry-level position with basic computer skills and valid driver's license required
Summer Camp Alpine Manager
Experience in working with clients with challenging behaviors, leadership and supervision experience, and ability to work in an outdoor environment
Summer Camp Sports Intern/Specialist
High school degree, 16+, valid driver's license, clean background check, CPR/First Aid certification, basic computer skills, and ability to lift 25 pounds
Summer Camp Alpine Sports Specialist
The role requires a valid driver's license, current CPR/First Aid certification, and basic computer skills
Camp Overnight Supervisor
Minimum 1-5 years of experience working with individuals with special needs, with experience in adaptive camp and ADLs highly preferred
