Job Description
This position is for a clinician/therapist in the Children and Family Treatment and Supports (CFTS) program at Astor Services. The role involves providing therapeutic support to families, conducting assessments, delivering evidence-based interventions, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Flexible scheduling is a key part of this role, offering non-traditional shift work.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in New York state (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, Psychologists)
- Experience working with families in a therapeutic setting
- Strong understanding of family systems and evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in clinical documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
