Job Description
Astranis is a space satellite communications provider specializing in high orbits, servicing large enterprises and governments. They are seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain infrastructure critical to their satellite operations, ensuring mission-critical platform availability and developer productivity. The role supports both commercial and U.S. Government programs, and relies on a Kubernetes-based platform.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in Infrastructure and/or Site Reliability engineering
- Bachelor of Science in a related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Technology)
- Experience deploying and maintaining production Kubernetes clusters
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g. Terraform, Ansible)
- Proficiency with Python or other scripting language
- Understanding of cloud spend optimization and best practices for managing cost
