Senior IT Security Analist (SOC)

Join our new defense line against cyber attacks as a Senior IT Security Analyst (SOC). As an IT Security Analyst, you will play a key role in detecting, analyzing, and resolving security incidents. You will be part of a compact and specialized team of six technical security specialists. The work atmosphere is informal, with room for knowledge sharing, technical deepening, and growth.

Requirements

• Completed relevant HBO education, for example in IT Security or Informatics
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in IT Security, preferably in a SOC environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Windows (server and client) environments
• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Defender
• Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Sentinel
• Demonstrable knowledge of SIEM systems and security monitoring techniques
• Experience with Kusto Query Language (KQL) is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality, and proactive attitude
• Clear communication, both to technical and non-technical colleagues
• Excellent command of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing
• Residing in the Netherlands
