Job Description
Atrium Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) to join their Pediatric Endocrinology Medicine Division in Charlotte, NC. The department serves two children's hospitals and provides comprehensive care for complex endocrinopathies. The role involves independent outpatient clinic work, collaboration with the inpatient team, and a commitment to medical education.
Requirements
- Perform initial and periodic medical history, physical examinations, and assessments.
- Record findings of examinations, assessments and plan of care.
- Writes appropriate prescriptions and administers medications.
- Orders and interprets laboratory and radiology examinations.
- Determines treatment plan for patient.
- Demonstrates appropriate critical thinking, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and concentrate.
