Job Description
Atrium Health is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join their growing Pediatric Trauma Surgery team at Levine Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, NC. The position is a 7p-7a shift-based nocturnal position, including rotating weekends and holidays, with the focus on providing trauma care to pediatric patients in a 24/7 environment. This is part of a single, nationally-renowned integrated healthcare system.
Requirements
- DEA license (current state)
- BLS for Healthcare Provider certification from AHA
- Master’s Degree or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (requiring current licensure)
- Pediatric Acute Care board certification (based on population and acuity)
- Current PALS and ATLS certifications preferred
- Ability to apply for prescriptive authority (NC)
- Current Pediatric NP License
- 1 year experience as a PNP-AC
- Physician Assistant certification (master’s preferred)
- 1 year experience required
