Controls Field Service Technician

The Controls Field Service Technician repairs and services equipment and machinery at customer facilities, troubleshoots mechanical and electrical equipment, and provides information to create service quotations. The role requires strong technical skills, excellent interpersonal and commercial skills, and the ability to work in a multi-disciplined engineering environment.

Requirements

• Three to six years of experience in a hands-on mechanical/electrical environment
• Preferred college degree in engineering related field or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Rockwell PLC's, HMI's, servo control preferred
• Experience in dealing with customers to resolve problems is required
• Ability to read drawings, reference manuals and assembly systems instruction guides is essential
• Must have experience and be proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Requires excellent interpersonal and commercial skills
