AI Platform Lead

We are building a new AI Platform team to power the next generation of intelligent features in our cloud-based retail system for hearing care. As an AI Platform Lead, you will design and build production services, lead a team of engineers, and collaborate with different stakeholders internally and externally to evolve overall technical direction.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience building and operating backend or platform services in production
• Strong experience with.NET and/or Python, and cloud-native services (microservices, APIs, messaging)
• Knowledge of MCP, MAF, Microsoft Foundry
• Hands-on experience building AI-powered features or services (e.g. RAG, prompt management, tool-calling, agent-like workflows)
• Experience integrating with speech-to-text providers (Azure, Whisper, or similar), or a strong willingness to learn quickly
• Previous experience as a tech lead / team lead or similar role, owning systems end-to-end
• Solid engineering practices: testing, CI/CD, observability, performance, and reliability
