Family Nurse Practitioner Faculty - Full-Time – Non-Tenure Track Position

Augsburg University is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner Faculty member to teach and mentor in the DNP-FNP track of the DNP program. The position includes teaching, academic advising, supervision of student DNP projects, and service to the university.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree in nursing
• Current, unencumbered licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) / Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) in the State of Minnesota
• Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
• Ability to maintain active clinical practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner, averaging one day per week
• Teaching experience in online, hybrid, and/or in-person modality
• Graduate-level course teaching experience
• Demonstrated commitment to values of healthcare for all with transcultural experience and skills
• Experience in leadership within nursing practice
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the university level
• Five years of experience in the nursing profession
• Experience with practicing in primary care, integrative care, or functional medicine
• Experience working with diverse populations, either in a clinical or academic setting
• Experience in community health or transcultural nursing
