We are looking for a hands-on Operational Purchaser to support day-to-day procurement activities within the supply chain organization. In this role, you will execute purchase orders, manage order confirmations and deliveries, and ensure timely material availability for production and fulfillment.
Requirements
- Execute and manage day-to-day purchasing activities, including purchase order creation, order tracking, and delivery follow-up
- Ensure material availability by coordinating closely with suppliers, production, logistics, and planning
- Monitor order confirmations, delivery dates, and quantities, and proactively resolve delays, shortages, and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate purchasing and master data in the ERP system and support inventory control activities
- Prepare and review operational reports and KPIs (e.g. on-time delivery, backlog, inventory levels)
- Act as the first point of contact for operational escalations and supply disruptions, driving timely and pragmatic solutions
- Support continuous improvement of purchasing processes, tools, and workflows in collaboration with the wider supply chain team
- Actively support daily operations and contribute to cross-functional initiatives and improvement projects
