Software Development Engineer In Test

Avasant is a leading management consulting firm seeking a Software Development Engineer In Test to work on automation of developed features and manual testing of new features. The ideal candidate will have experience with Agile methodology, B2B SaaS products, and Dashboards, Workflows, and Data based products. They will work closely with developers to automate features and set up automation infrastructure, and contribute to the complete architecture of automation framework planning and designing automation for performance, API and Web.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) or above
• Certifications similar to ISTQB, CAST or CSTE
• Strong expertise in automation testing of Web and APIs
• Proficient in Java/Python, shell scripting
• 2-3 years of experience as an SDET, Software Tester or similar role
• Experience with QA test automation technologies like Selenium WebDriver, RestAssured, TestNG, and Maven
• Experience with performance and/or security testing
• Knowledge of client server architecture and backend protocols
• Experience In Manual Testing for Web
• Experience using SQL and Database Management Systems (DBMS)
• Ability to learn and actively seek new skills and knowledge
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Able to handle multitask, triage issues, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and detail-orientation
