Snubbing Operator

Role Overview

The Snubbing Operator safely coordinates and oversees snubbing units at the well sites. This individual will have an active state-issued Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement. The Operator will be responsible for directing crew members while rigging up and rigging down of snubbing unit, maintenance of snubbing unit, clean up/repair of support equipment, and the preparation of equipment for the next job.

What You Will Do

Responsible for ensuring hydraulic hoses, equipment startup, engaging of prime mover and hydraulic pumps are connected and operating correctly. Has demonstrated knowledge of the function and location of all snubbing unit operating controls.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must have valid, active state-issued driver license; Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement is preferred and a plus. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written in English.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education
• Valid, active state-issued driver license; Class A or B CDL with air brakes endorsement is preferred and a plus
• Minimum of two (2) years snubbing experience and/or workover rig experience
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Outlook and Word
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, visitors, vendors and other employees
• Mobility, including entering confined spaces, enter areas by the use of ladders or other access devices up to 15 ft.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written in English
• Ability to interact with others in a team environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Basic writing, math, problem solving and organizational skills
