Job Description
B. Riley Wealth is seeking a full-time Tax Accountant to join their Mineola, NY office, preparing individual and business tax returns, conducting client interviews, and providing guidance on tax matters.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years’ experience in preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Direct experience working with clients and the ability to explain tax and accounting concepts clearly.
- At least one year of experience using UltraTax software; experience with business returns is a plus.
- Familiarity with preparing sales and payroll tax filings.
- Positive attitude with a team-oriented and professional approach.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make accurate, rules-based decisions.
- Highly organized and proactive, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
