Senior Test Specialist, Electrical

Babcock is an international defence company providing support and product solutions to enhance our customers' defence capabilities and critical assets. We are seeking a Senior Test Specialist, Electrical to join our Canadian team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out testing, acceptance and maintenance activities for various Victoria Class Submarine (VCS) systems and equipment.

Requirements

• Strong technical skills including post-secondary education; degree, diploma and/or certificate in electrical engineering technology, or equivalent experience.
• Registration as an Applied Science Technologist (AScT) or Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) with the applicable provincial association, or eligibility to complete such registration within 12 months of commencing employment.
• 8+ years of related technical experience.
• Marine, offshore oil and gas drilling, naval vessel, or submarine operational experience, an asset.
• Experience operating, testing/commissioning electrical systems, an asset.
