Supplier Quality Engineer Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer Lead to implement tools and processes to ensure suppliers improve on current products with robust plans and deliver first time quality to BAE program customers.

What You Will Do

Investigate, evaluate, and resolve supplier quality problems, including proactive management via defect trend analysis, preventative measures, and continuous improvement projects. Perform Production Process Verifications (PPV's) at supplier locations and participate in PPAP review process and other aspects of APQP.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to ensure suppliers understand requirements and expectations
• Strong understanding of Quality Science tools (APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma)
• Relates well with individuals at all levels of the organization, builds appropriate rapport, fosters constructive and effective relationships
