Job Description
The Speech Pathologist at Baptist Hospital evaluates, plans, and administers speech and language therapy treatment to clients, diagnosing and treating disorders such as speech, language, voice and swallowing difficulties. They implement evidence-based interventions and provide patient and family education to achieve functional goals. They also coordinate clinical test results and provide prognosis.
Requirements
- Complete evaluations of assigned patients/clients.
- Plan and provide treatment.
- Coordinate client care with other clinical team members.
- Complete all required documentation.
- Maintain knowledge/license and certification.
- Assist in other duties as assigned.
