Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for experienced Mobile Mechanics to join the Carlin Underground Projects Team (UPT) in Carlin, NV. The ideal candidate will possess a background in underground mining and metals and be able to work in a team to execute development projects safely and on cost and schedule.
Requirements
- Take ownership in and accountability for maintaining safe work practices, safe workplaces, and safe operation and maintenance of all equipment
- Able to work within a team and solve issues before they become problems
- Shop Equipment, Tools, & Skills - Must be able to read, comprehend, interpret blueprints & instruction manuals.
- Hydraulic Systems - Must be able to troubleshoot and repair basic hydraulic systems, Identify & explain component functions on a hydraulic schematic.
- Maintains the ability to follow directions & to complete quality work at a high level.
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to learn and adapt to changing technologies and training
